About This Game NeverEnd is a Rogue-Like Dungeon crawler, where you, a simple adventurer suddenly wakes up in another dimension. Inside of this dimension there is no sun and the whole world is caved in. Enemies swarm you from left and right and you need to learn how to defend yourself.The goal of the game is to escape this dimension. Without a doubt the best mini-games I have played on steam (I can see hours of fun ahead of me) ... I am looking forward in seeing what Duck Dev's do next.. Wow,so hard.but i like it.. This is a horrrendously bad game. Even calling it a game feels wrong. The controls are abhorrent, both in-game and in the menu (I didn't even know that was possible). This game is "difficult" only because the combat and movement mechanics are so poor. The controls make no sense, and are not re-bindable. Not only is this game not worth your money, it's not worth the time it takes to figure out that it's not worth the money.. NeverEnd is a game that I can't recommend because:- it's not worth the money- the gameplay is boring and repetitive- the controls are horrible- it is boring- the graphics aren't that good- the soundtrack is repetitive and annoying- the only good reason to install this game is for the trading cards. Even though it is devilishly hard theres a certain addiction that wants you to do that (Just one more level go) .For the money i'm not complaining.It reminds me how a lot of todays games are so much easier to complete than the oldies.(Remember buy the fishing rod). Soooooooo...Hack and slash placed in dungeon, where you buy gear, drink potions and go fishing.So it's almost like Torchlight :D. The game might be best described as “exploration horror”. The artwork is fantastic, sound design is great, but, unfortunately, the game isn`t really polished. While the art style is perfect, a lot of the assets are reused and, moreover, enemy types are limited.. Even though it is devilishly hard theres a certain addiction that wants you to do that (Just one more level go) .For the money i'm not complaining.It reminds me how a lot of todays games are so much easier to complete than the oldies.(Remember buy the fishing rod). Quite hard, and frustrating at times, but I mean It's a Rogue-Like, so yeah... What do you expect?The game does have some minor flaws, which are connected to it just being released:- A lack of enemy variety- The difficulty of actually finding a shop to buy things at, so you're basically stuck with an underpowered stick- The feeling of all the rooms being pointless up until you actually find a boss or a shop since it seems like there's an infinite amount of roomsI do recommend this game, however. Since it has lots of potential and I'm a very interested person when it comes down to the evolution of a game. :D
